im tired of making somewhat relevant names, its all steeel wool, working with flash and trying to establish foreground with the steel wool as a background as well as working with location, unfortunately i took a fall in mud (with camera and tripod in hand.theyre both okay but i nearly shat myself) and i didnt stay out as well as i liked, and i finally set my remote up, but it wasnt working well and its difficult to shoot when youre all the way up on something, as well as the fact i was shooting in manual focus along with manual and i cant see how blurry/clear its going to be.

im extremely disappointed with these but im hoping to make progress soon. i think i put too many variables too quick so dont tear it apart. :[

if you inverted it, it would almost look like a dandelion flower (the seed ones)

This one turned out pretty good I'd say! I like it. :) I have heard of steel wool doing something like this, but I have no idea what is actually happening. Can you explain?

theres tutorials and stuff online but its steel wool photography, you can make it differently but its just steel wool lit and taken at a long exposure

So, like, you burn the steel wool? How does it light up?
